I have never been a big fan of soccer. I’ve only watched Iran’s national team matches or other matches for entertainment. My mom sometimes used to say “what kind of game is it that 23 people run after a single ball and everybody watches them for 90 minutes”.
When the soccer team of my city got to league Bartar I decided to go to the stadium with other fans and watch a soccer match in the stadium for the first time. I had never had such an experience and going to the stadium was a strange experience for me. Since I’m not so into soccer matches, I had no tendency for any team and unlike other fans who were there to cheer their favorite team Up and they paid all their attention to the green rectangle, for me going to stadium and watching everything that happens there was exciting just like walking in an unknown neighborhood alleys.
From the minute I entered to the stadium till the time I left I had my mom joke in my mind and what I noticed was that everything is not about 23 people running after a ball and not even about the green rectangle itself. Stadiums have many other parts that are not shown to us by tv and other media. There are many people who work really hard for many hours to make it possible for people to watch a 90 minutes match.
All of these together made me decide to go to the stadium in future for other matches. I even decided to go there before everyone else and to leave there after everyone else in order to show those parts of a soccer match that are never shown and to show that a soccer game is more than a green rectangle and 23 people running after a ball.
